Last Updated: 08/28/2010 - 06:26 A&S Powersports invites motorcycle enthusiasts to part of one of the biggest Vintage Motorcycle and Scooter Shows and Swap Meets, ever. Randy Felice, Dealer Principal of A&S Powersports, promises something for everyone. He and his crew are highly experienced at holding these kinds of events where hospitality is the goal. A complimentary BBQ, door prizes for gift certificates and accessories, free GPS training with Del Christiansen and the opportunity to participate in a swap meet are just a few things on the agenda for the day.
A&S is especially excited to have actor Perry King serve as guest judge during the Vintage Bike Show. Mr. King, an avid motorcyclist, has made several film and television appearances.
The Swap Meet begins at 9:00 AM and will close 11:00 AM. Booth space is available for vendors for just $10 per space. All proceeds from this portion of the day will be donated to the American Red Cross. The Vintage Motorcycle and Scooter Show starts at 12:00 PM and completes at 5:00 PM. Everything from an Ariel Square Four to a Zündapp is likely to be present. Rare vintage specimens on display are not to be missed.

Last Updated: 08/27/2010 - 22:29 This AMA-sanctioned poker run for vintage motorcycle will transport you back 40 years in time following a leisurely 60 to 80-mile loop around the backroads of north central Maryland. The event is also sponsored by the Western Maryland Motorcycle Association.
There will be a stop at a store along the way to pick up a poker chip. Merchanise prizes will be awarded for the best poker hands by class. A chase truck will be provided on the vintage route. Food will be served throughout the event at the pavilion.
There are three classes (Veteran, Vintage, Classic) and fees range from $1 to $10 depending on class.
