have aquired a wixom faring and saddle-bags that will fit my 1972 r60/5 toaster, my concern is with wind buffiting at highway speeds.70mph, Thanks .

I have a Wixom fairing on my R69S. I have no issues riding it concerning buffet. Now I'm not drafting with 18-wheelers down the road, but myself or running around locally, no problems.

I also have a Wixom with Krauser bags and have no buffeting what so ever..even well over 70 mph.

Over the years I have run Wixom fairings on both LWB and SWB /5's with no problems but others have had different experiences. You should read what Duane has to say about them http://w6rec.com/aftermarket-fairings/.

wixom ranger faring

thanks guys for the replys.this type of faring was designed for the /2 i can make it fit, but with high-bars, or euros i have to use bar extenders.i.e. 3 inch set back.which does change ride posture. again thanks
