My deepest apologies to the purists, but can anyone offer recommendations for a custom cafe seat. I have an extra subframe so I'd consider some modifications to the the seat frame. I'm in the Bay Area, but geographics don't matter. Thanks!
There is also Russell Day Long just North of Redding Calif. I think in Shasta Lake City? May not be to your likening tho.

Funny you should ask - I just installed this seat on my R75/5. It is available from S. Meyer, a German parts supplier in Germany, through ebay. The link below will take you to the long wheelbase version (mine is SWB). Took a while to get here from Germany over Christmas, but it is an excellent product, and even with shipping quite a bit cheaper than the Corbin Gunfighter.

"Purist?" Is that a new insult for people who hate to see classic motorcycles molested?
I have a Corbin Gunfighter on my /6, and it's very nice. I'd recommend them.
Not sure what part of the Bay Area you are, cause it covers several thousand acres. But what about Corbin Saddles in Hollister Calif. Maybe better to call them to see what they can do for you.
