Looking for information on mounting an old Heinrich tank on my /2. This is an early type with no mounting tabs at the front. The only mounts seem to be two threaded tappings on the bottom near the center.

There is a two piece bracket that you seem to be missing, that attaches to the motorcycle frame and the two threaded tappings you mention. The front end of the tank just rests on the rubber cushion that also seems missing, and the rear of the tank rests on the dual seat typically used with this tank.
