The manual says to heat it up to ca. 100 celsius, but will the heat not affect the paper gasket behind the rear main bearing holder?

I Heated

I heated my R69 case to 325 F (162 C)and it didn't hurt the paper gasket. Had to go that hot to get the crank to drop into the new rear bearing carrier. The new ones are tight.
