The club website and this forum have successfully moved to new, bigger digs. If you are reading this, you have arrived at our new hosting service. (If you hadn't reached here, you'd find that the forum was still down.)
The changeover occured from about 9:30pm to 1am PST on Friday night, 12/11. It took a bit longer than expected because of delays in some of the old site backups and also propogating the changes to the name servers.
We thank you for your patience. This change will allow us to do more for the club's online presence in the future, while actually saving a bit of money.
Sometime this coming weekend, from Friday 12/11 through Sunday 12/13, the club forum will be down.
We are changing our domain registrar and hosting service, and although the actual work should only take an hour or so, the forum will appear to be unavailable until the DNS changes propogate through the internet. This could take as much as 2 days for some people; others will see the new incarnation of the site within a few hours.
The website itself should not appear to be down; we will not be changing any material on the site at that time, and the changeover should be nearly invisible.
We hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding!
