Folks,

In looking at the front disk rotor, it seems to have a lot of ridges on the disk face (103,000 miles).
- Can these be disks be turned on a lathe to remove the ridges (is it okay to do that)?
- Would shop that turns disk rotors for cars be able to do this?

Thanks in advance for words of wisdom

Best.

The min thickness should be

The min thickness should be stamped somewhere on the disk. Check the dimensions. I believe the thickness is pretty near the min even new.

As for turning, I think you need to do more or a flat surface grinding. Something that pulls the disk down and does a complete surface.
