In doing historical research on West Africa, I came across this collection of motorcycle photographs taken between 1903 and 1935. You may enjoy trying to identify them, though so far as I can make out there are no BMWs. (Click on the pictures to see larger versions.)

I posted a link to this thread over at the AMCA forums and the experts are working on it.

So far:
Photos 1, 7, 9, and 11 are SD Triumphs. I'm pretty sure the SD ( spring drive ) first appeared in 1922 but didn't get the drum front brake until 1924 so that would make the ones in the photos 1924 or later models
The one registered CM 36 appears in photos 1, 9, and 11

And Photo 10 is NOT a P&M, that much has been determined.
