Thank you very much for your help.

I don't have much sense of

I don't have much sense of the market in Athens. Is there a Greek version of ebay you could look at? Or check German ebay for prices of an R25 and scale those prices for your area. My guess is an R25 (is it a 1950 or 1951 model?) in not good condition might be worth only a couple of thousand US dollars, if that much.

"not good condition" may

"not good condition" may translate to "sell it for parts on e-bay." Thee bikes are cute, but are sooo slow. I know there are some folks who love them, but I can't see spending the $ to fully restore one of these when the twin cylinder versions are so much more appealing to drive. Just my 2 cents....

Good Luck!

Doug

Being sooo different than my

Being sooo different than my twins makes it a kick! I enjoy it for what it is, plus the history that my bike has. It was a police bike in Germany and I've made contact with the people who know of the bike. Kind of interesting to me.

I resemble that remark! (my 1936 R2 is out getting a big-bucks restoration), sometimes being "different" is plenty.
