OK, just had to get this one... one R60 1959 imported to my hometown the same year... found it in a barn 2 hours north last week. Well, fancy improvements like compressor horns, various chrome from english (?) bikes, a little chrome, parts missing, a chromed headlight bucket, 2 mufflers (Hoske?) built from 4 mufflers, and a little more chrome. Gonna be FUUUN!

I like it! For my taste, a stock /2 (especially with small tank and big seat) is not very pleasing to look at. The big tank and custom seat look good, although I'm not sure about the chrome fender and headlight;-)
What are your plans for the bike?
Bruce
Thanks!
The plan was to put the original tank back... but I'll think it over. The main thing is the fenders, though. Have old rusty ones laying around so I need to restore the back flap. Headlight bucket is gonna be changed as one of the switchboard holding tounges is broken. The bar is some high & wide (HD looking) model so a low one is going there.
So it'll be going back to a more original look but still be a rider. No museum piece!
