Bench Mark Works announced that it will host the fifth annual BMW Veteran Motorcycle Club of America Rally to be held in the south. The rally will take place April 16-18, 2010.
All vintage BMW motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to gather at Craig and Elaine Vechorik’s Bench Mark Works motorcycle museum, campground and vintage parts store for a weekend of vintage BMW motorcycle-related activities. Craig (“Vech”) will present technical seminars, sharing some of the mechanical knowledge he has gained in 30 years of repairing and restoring vintage BMWs.
Awards will be given to five motorcycle owners based on vintage motorcycle criteria, and to five "Vintage BMW Heroes." If it rains, there is plenty of room inside to enjoy your weekend. Children and pets are welcome at the event.
A club donation per adult (payable in advance, or on site) includes: camping space, morning and evening meals will be provided (lunch on your own), showers, coffee/soft drinks, door prizes, technical seminars, two area rides, swap meet, free long-distance telephone calls to any country, and a 10% discount off all parts purchased from Bench Mark Works. RV space is only available at city park, about one mile from Bench Mark Works. Rally t-shirts will be available for an additional club donation.
