I have acquired the rear end off what may be a BMW but I am not sure. I would have to email the pictures to you because they are too large to post on the forum. I picked it up at an auction last Friday and now I am trying to figure out what I got. i reduced the size of one photo and attached it here but it is not very good but I would be happy to email all the photos to anyone who may be able to help. I know its a little like finding a needle in a haystack but I still need to try.

I'm not sure what you have.

I'm not sure what you have. I'm aware of these types of rear suspensions on BMW, especially the Boxers and K-Bikes:

- monolever - http://www.bmbikes.co.uk/photos/mechanicalphotos/R%20monolever.jpg
- paralever - http://www.bmbikes.co.uk/photos/mechanicalphotos/R100GS%20paralever.jpg

These are the more typical suspensions, but it could be something from the very latest bikes as in the F800s. These types of modern technology are foreign to me!!

Actually, the F800 is belt-drive so that's not it.
